An interactive workshop of half a day for internal and external sales staff who have contact with the care providers. In many cases the ethical code results in having to disappoint the customer. In this workshop the challenge is to educate staff on the contents and the correct application of a complex set of regulations relating to the ethical code.
In addition, the ability to communicate these limitations to the customer in a commercially correct way is of the highest importance to retain a good customer relationship. Failure to understand the regulations results in risky mistakes that incur fines to the company. When using traditional educational methods this subject matter is generally met with little enthusiasm and staff is required to repeat the training on an annual basis.
Development of a tailor-made board game taking half a day for a target group of a maximum of 10 participants per session with a high interactive content whereby the theory is applied inductively in recognizable situations. The mildly competitive aspect of the game encourages all of the delegates to participate to the full. The game was developed in such a way that it can be played with or without a facilitator.
Participants report a much improved understanding and long-term effect of the training. In addition to a higher understanding of the regulations, they also appreciated the attention given to the correct way of communicating with the customer depending on his or her personality type. The gaming aspect adds a moment between colleagues with plenty of opportunity for joking and fun. A dreaded training course has been transformed into an event that people want to attend.
